cheers man :)
wait it has a face on it?? thought they came standard with those :/ haha and yeah cxi well to be honest where to i start im pretty much wanna do an complete overhaul of it, well nearly
i wanna repaint it cause of scratches etc, wanna drop a b16a (hopefully) into it, stick a body kit on it, heavy duty clutch, new rear lights, strut, hondata 200 (if i can get one) exstractors/ exhaust system
so you could almost say both of those things but im probably more worried about body work at the moment performance will come later

if it's only lightly scratched up you're better off running a buffer over the whole car instead of painting. respray = big $$$

dc2 integra is based on eg civic platform, older generation
your ek civic is more advanced design and construction, you made a good choice

the number represents which version of the car it is. EK-9 is the type R model. EK-1 is the sohc efi version (what you have). EK-4 is the VTi-R version.
pretty sure I got those right, if not maybe some of the civic guys can fix it for me haha.

IMO you cannot compare tegs and civics, two cars built for very different purposes. Its prolly better (more meaningful) to compare tegs and ludes
Always have a soft spot for nice civics. But yah I've found a lot of parts are the same or similar. Good luck with the civic mate.

ahk i know the engine is a d16y4, so strut bars etc will be the same but stuff like extractors would be different cause of the engine series difference?

yeah man thats right. all engine parts will be different for D and B series engines.

ek4 seats > dc2 seats ... :) ive sat in my mates dc2 and he's sat in my ek4.. we both agree..

Incorrect.. not all ek4's have coloured mouldings.. the only factory colored part that isnt optional with the ek4's are the side mirrors and door handles :)
oh and to the op! hope you enjoy haha black = win... if only they made facelift ek4's

From 1996 to 1998, the pre-facelift civics were made. In 1999 Honda modified the front end of all ek's for more modern look. You might not be able to notice the difference yet, but you will. You just need to note when buying any body parts for the front end that it's for a post facelift civic.

that is correct haha.. a easily identifier.. is pre facelift 95-98 = bigger headlights / massive bumper lower grill .... facelift 99-01 = foglight vents and slimmer headlights. :D
