My friend runs them on an EF8 and he loves the dry grip but says they're not so good in the wet. He went to them from RE001's previously and said he preferred the overall feel of the RE001 and they were also cheaper to boot. 195/50/15. He also reports they're not going to last him long at all.
Personally I have only driven his car short distances and found them good when I drove but the price tag and wear rating would turn me off for a daily. For DD I recommend things like Yokohama S Drive and Toyo T1R, although I'm using the KU31 atm as they're a bit cheaper (but doing the job well).

I'm running them on my ep3 as a daily. Absolutely love them. Better than the RE001s IMO. Feels very stable in the wet.
I bought the car with them already fitted so can't comment on the price tag but the wear rating is 180. Not going to last long.

I used to have KU36's on my dc4!
i only used then for 2000kms before I took them off (only used them to pass roadworthy) and they were great!

$140 a tyre for the Kuhmos? Sounds cheap for such an awesome tyre.
Call kmart tyres and ask if they can beat it by 5% :) Worked when I bought RE001s.

The federal 595 rsr is prettty good aswell. Some people that ran both ku36 and rsr prefer the rsr overall. Theres a thread on here somewhere.

For awesome grip I recommend Hankook Ventus RS2 or RS3
Daily driving, kumo's does the job .

They'll probably wear fast...
I'm happy with the Falken ZE912 tyres...good balance between tyre life, grip, road noise.
205/50/16 cost me $129 each at Jax Liverpool

Some tyre shops import thier own tyres not go through kumho Australia, meaning they can lower thier price.. I remember a year ago I purchased kumho ku31 245/50R18 for $150 a corner at stylish wheels where most shops wanted $250 plus

Didn't they improve the RE002 wet weather ability? Or has it only improved some 5% compared to the RE001 which weren't much to write about in the rain...

Ahh rito. If i could get ku36 again for roughly $150 per corner in 45/16 i would jump on it. Now that its roughly $210+ per corner, i wouldnt bother lol. Ive also never had any problems in the wet... that could be because i take it easy knowing they arent meant to perform that well in the wet though..
