Hey guys, just wondering what the alternator output is for a CL9. I know it was designed to handle having everything on, but with all the stuff I added and am thinking of adding, I question if it'll be enough. E.g Having HID + Fog + upgraded Audio + rear demister + heater etc.

Even with just a fully stock car, the headlights dim when the A/C kicks in! So the alternator is just adequate and not really built with contingency for high drain items (like the A/C compressor).

If you put a multimeter across the terminals while the car is running, and all Electrics are off, should measure between 14.3 and 14.6 volts.

2 ways to increase output
1. bigger alternator
2. bigger pully for existing alternator.

or if you're keeping the current setup, to maintain stable current, think about a ground kit and/or volt stablizer.
