Hi, fairly new around here, I have had quite a bit of a read/search, but am finding it difficult to decide what to do and how to go about a few mods for my car.

It is a 2006 VTI-L Civic Sedan, Silver?

The main goals for this car, is a transport for audio. I have competed and continue to compete in various car audio competitions, both SPL and SQ.

However adding lots of extra weight with deadening, batteries, speakers, etc, slows down the car significantly.
So far I have run 4 runs of 1/0 gauge, used 2 bulk packs of dynamat, as well as felt and mass loaded vinyl throughout the car. This is just the beginning.

Now as far as adding weight is concerned, I would like a tad more power to go with it, just to balance it out, just wondering as to peoples recommended bang for buck mods. Would intake and exhaust be the best place to start? Im not looking for exhaust note or anything like that, as that adds extra noise into the equation, which I am clearly trying to block out, just a bit more power. Cars that I have owned previously have been 2 Falcons with a bit of work, and a 78 Gemini Coupe, with extensive engine work.

And then where would I go about acquiring these things, where/how would be best?

On top of that, I also do a bit of fast cornering, etc, so would be looking at some coilovers that would be ideal for a street car, help me lower it a bit and the like.
Rims, I will decide on, but I am happy to roll my guards in order to fit something by 8.5, I think I will go 18s when funds become available.
So any recommendations on what coilovers and why?

My next questions are about interior parts.
Where would my best bets be, if I ever needed to purchase some replacement interior parts, namely bits from my dash.

What I am aiming to do to my dash, is fit 10 inch midbasses in these locations:

Down, slightly under where the Speedo used to be

Clearly I will need to modify this.

and

Where the air con unit currently is.

I know in order to do this, I have to either lose or modify my air con, so as to accomodate this, and reroute the piping from it, that is not an issue. However at some stage, I may need some factory plastic trims again, if I ever hack mine up, or break something along the way, where should I go for such parts, and what should I expect to pay?

For the rest of the fronts, I will be running full format tweeters [4"] up against the windshield on the pillars, and 5.5" midrange drivers next to them, as well as the 10s sunken into the dash.

I understand what I am doing, all I am after is some advice about how I should go about a few things, as well as reasoning as to why you recommend such a thing, and then if anyone knows much about aftermarket aircons, or relocating my current one, that would be appreciated also.

Thanks,

Ryan.
