hey guys,

just got RAC to check over my car yesterday.. they advised me i need to get my front disc brakes changed on my DC5R..

any recommendations on what brand to get? i dont want ot go for expensive aftermarket brake pads like endless cas i havent modified my car yet and cant justify the cost until its highly modified..

...then again.. i dont want the cheapest one thats gonna cause lots of brake dust everywhere

any1 know of good brands that are good value for money and don't cause too much brake dust?

or should i go for oem from honda? probably as expensive as endless :D

i'd go for endless brake pads.. but dont see the point if my car is std at the moment..

when i went to auto 1 they dont have it in their catalogues.. same as midas, so might go to supercheap or repco.. see how much they are selling it for.

ANy decent performance pad will eat abit of your stock rotors.

You have to comprimise :)

In that case should just get OEM ones:rolleyes: for the moment anyway;)

go the cheaper range of endless then... they will probably be better than stock...

there's no Rb74's for dc5's

Endless EuroX rock !!! ;)

called honda the other day.. $230.00 for OEM brake pads, plus $50.00 to fit.. i might as well get endless for that price..

on cypher industries website; ENDLESS TYPE NA-Y from from $254.10.. need to call them and find out how much for my application..

has any1 used these pads before? being near the bottom of the range of endless.. are they very dusty brake pads? otherwise might get oem and get a friend to fit them for me...

also, any one else know any decent workshops in perth that i can get decent brake pads and installed? thanks..

oh.. i've called a few places and bendix don't do dc5r

Endless type NA-M... any good any1??

TYPE NA-M (from $444.40) (cypher website)

Xspeed they quoted me $220.00.

I wanted to get NA-Y's but they dont have any in stock.. problem is that NA-M operates from 100 degrees.. is this ok for daily driving? i probably wont brake hard unless i go like really hard or something once in a blue moon.. so dunno if its safe or not, does any1 know std operating temp of brakes on dc5r?

thanks for your help..
