ok im almost finished the B20 swap into my EG civic sedan
so my problem is!!! ( please keep in mind i am using the d15z ecu, was told i could start the engine, not drive it just start it )
fuel pump is priming > fuel pumping into filter > fuel pumping into fuel rail.... thats it.
things i have done so far!
i took fuel pressure reg off, and primed fuel pump fuel comes out! so i replaced fuel pressure reg!
so now i know that fuel is going through the rail!
i got it started by spraying fuel out of a spray bottle directly down TB!!!
i also swapped the fuel pump with my type R one. nothing changed. still no bang
this engine was running before i did the swap!
thanks guys!!

first of all get the right ecu
no need to spray tb with fuel it's fuel injected you're not spraying holleys
get the ecu tested as that motor has been sitting around for awhile. injectors might need new seals and orings as it might be cracked and dried up sucking in air,

ur ecu must NOT be sending the correct (if any at all) signal /s to the injectors....

it started with fuel down the throat of the TB but obviously not when you crank it won't fire on it's own

fkn LOL
b20 start with d15z ecu
i heard you can port and polish inlet/exh manifold by feeding red sand on your throttle body
did you have ecu pin out for d15z?
match and compare with harness in engine

my b16 wouldn't even run with an ef8 ecu,

got the car started today, and guess what.... WITH THE D15 ECU.... problem was simply not enough fuel. earlier in the week i had put $15 in it, as i drained all the other old fuel out, and it simply wasnt enough fuel in the tank :)
was wierd that the fuel was coming out the filter, just wasnt enough i guess :)
all i need now to drive it is the following :)
TORQUE MOUNTS
POWER STEERING BRACKET ( not neccessary )
AIR CON MOTOR ( not neccesary )
CAT BACK EXHAUST (have one in dubbo but will probably just get one made here)
EXHAUST MANIFOLD GASKET
INTAKE
TOP RADIATOR HOSE
STEERING COLUMN PLASTICS
The other weird thing i need is the washers for the stabilizer bar for the gear shifter, its 2 big washers that go on either side of the stabilizer bar on the gearbox side.
There is a few other little bits and pieces but ill update those later
