Hey guys,

As title states.

My Question is do i need to replace the oem vtir lca to dc2r lcas when installing dc2r rear sway bar? Or can I just use the vtir lca?
And also im aware of the subframe damage issue, so I will be installing an ASR brace with the sway bar.

Help would be appreciated.:)

im pretty sure you dont have to.
vtir lcas should have swaybar holes ready for penetration.

Please note that in order to use DC2R rear LCAs you'd need DC2R ball type suspension as well. But there's no reason why the dc2r swaybar end links won't bolt up to vtir LCAs

you wont need to change them it will bolt straight up no problem.

If your installing a dc2r sway bar into a vti-r you will need a subframe brace e.g asr brace to run it as its thicker but everything else is striaght bolt on.

hope this helps

I believe OP is aware as he mentions installing an ASR

You can use the VTIR LCA's.

The end links match up.

VTiR LCA if for fork style suspension coilovers or struts. Type R uses eyelet style suspension.

Not sure if one is better than the other. Front is the same between DC2R and DC2 as far as I know.

vti-r is stronger, but type r is lighter.

That's the difference in the design.
