View Full Version : Proportional Valve Help - What is in your stock EG5?

Hi, Anyone that has a EG5 SI/VTI, can you please tell me what size proportional valve you have?
Searching forums tells me its 4040 from factory, HOWEVER mine currently has a 3040:S
Just wanna make sure I get the right one before I replace it.

From what I know eg5 come with 4040 possibly Some models come with 3040

Thanks for the input, thats very interesting. Would it make a difference being Si and VTi?
Technically they have the same rear brakes, but again different responses from different people: (

hey dude.. got eg8 prop valve here (stock eg with rear drums)
$40 and its yours and I can honestly vouce for no leaks and issues, was on my own civic and worked and removed and replaced all by me when i did rear disk upgrade.
