Hey guys
Doing very minor engine work to my dc2 gsi. Ive already ordered in the CAI from the states and now im looking for some headers. There are so many on ebay i need some help! can someone body reccomend me a good set of headers from ebay? are they all the same? also im not fussed on branding.
Also wil this make a difference if the rest of the exhuast is stock? i dont really want to upgrade the exhause as i do not want to drown out the sound of the engine.
Thank you

Won't make a big difference if the rest is stock. You really need to free up the whole exhaust to reap the benefit of each component.
What's your budget for a header?
And the GSI is a DC4 not a DC2 for future reference :)

Ohh hahaha yes ive never understood i always thought dc2 becasue of the shape!
Well id be willing to spend around 300-400$ for a good set of headers! also id need to get them installed im not to sure how much that would cost?

What Dougie said, you will create what is called 'bottlenecking' if you do not change the rest of your exhaust to match the larger collector of the aftermarket header.
And the GSI is a DC4 not a DC2 for future reference :)
and OP, you have an inline motor, so it is header not headers :)
I have one for sale: http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?163008-RMF-Rep-B-Series-4-1-Header-OBD1-ECU-Conversion-harness.

Look at this thread (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?162884-N*Power-Headers) if you want to learn a little more about exhaust setup/components. Will explain a lot.
$300-400 is a low budget. For that price I'd be trying to find an XForce item, probably used. Decent product but not spectacular.
If you can afford $500-600 I would be recommending 5Zigen, RS*R, Fujitsubo, PLM.

wont do much unless you got a stand alone fuel management system
