Hi Guys I just purchased a 2006 my07 fd civic and was wondering if it would be possible to actually connect the 6 cd player in the vti-l model as well as the steering wheel with the controls to the car.????

Just get yourself an aftermarket head unit and one of these . . .

http://www.pac-audio.com/productDetails.aspx?ProductId=207&CategoryID=29

They make them for all of the popular stereo brands and you can get them on the fleabay for less than the price on PacAudio's site.

I just sold one to suit Alpine, JVC & Clarion for $20 on Gumtree. An aftermarket head unit gives you sooooo many more options when it comes to upgrading down the track. Trust me, audio gets addictive.

dear ryan,

an HU is an aftermarket headunit. It might cost a bit more but the sound quality from one of those provides much better clarity from your speakers than the stock hu. Some aftermarket headunits are compatible with the steering wheel controls too.

you' need to buy an OEM double din fascia which is kind of pricey (http://www.jdmconcept.com.au/part/oem-honda/double-din-console/civic-fd2-06-11)
