ksports, i got them. 10x better (my opinion) than the shitty tein coilovers i had in my s13 (i will never buy that brand again).
ksports can pretty much throw your car on the ground.

people will say xxxxx is better like i just did or xxxxx is too rough, adjustable coilovers (which can be adjusted) can be dialed to your personal settings. rough, bouncy etc.
there is not way to tell which is best unless you know someone who can let you test them on the same car as your own.

you're about to get eleventy billion opinions about what you should get.

I would suggest you go to the next honda or JDMST meet and try and go for a ride in a few different set-ups, most people are pretty obliging and won't mind taking you for a quick spin around.

I'll respond to your PM in the morning with some pricing and my recommendations. You will need camber kits too if you haven't already got them

Other way I was thinking was eibach.
I had eibach pro kit shocks and springs in my old eg and they were sick.

I've seen eibach coilovers but $$$

What about eibach street line

senna
20-05-2012, 09:55 PM
For a street car i would stick with the rates they come with

the springs used on the Koni coilovers are made by EIbach

Super streets has offered me from go kart like handling to nice factory blisten like ride.

For reals? I have had koni's setup, king springs and even pedders coils before, non have matched the super streets in my opinion, I have also used cusco/whiteline struts and tie bars with the tiens which helped the stiffness of the car.

Just have ordered set of tiens for my girlfirends GD3 hopping its gonna arrive soon, Will provide feedback on how it goes on the jazz.

PS: this the jazz's 1st mod.\

Oh and as for brand new in box is setting me back 1.9k wit mates rates.

lol they couldnt even install them properly the first time though. they didnt adjust the dampering on the front before they installed them and they didnt tighten the spring seat so i had knocking until my next booking to get it fixxed. atleast they recognised it as their mistake and didnt charge.

sad thing is that it probably was. however my BC's work fine keep me down well tough spring rate is a lil harsh but prevents scrubbing despite the small gap.
any idea what the best damper setting is for performance though? is it harder = better or is it a balance thing.

DreadAngel

Personal preference and subsequently different balance...

You'll need to play around with the settings, check out another thread in the suspension forum a few of us have posted in =)

So I've made my mind up.
Gab ss from byp.
Going to order them in the morning.
Hard choice to make as I love the koni Coilovers tho out of my price range.

The ksports are great valve and look good also but gab ss have been the winner here

Benny did me a good deal so just gonna take it and with the money saved going to get some camber happening.

Any ideas on brands I should look into for camber.
Skunk2 hardrace?

Also want to thank everyone for the help on this topic.

Handles like a race car and still forgiving for the street.

Tein would be the way id be going if they made a model to suit your car. Tein coilovers + EDFC controller for in cabin damper adjustment if you want to go a bit crazy with a coilover setup.
