hey there as it says ive done a compression test on my b16a with roughly 120'000 on the clock runs a jun tune ecu with no limiter (i know its stupid but saving for a hondata) but ive got 175 flat across all 4 cylinders is this normal for a b16a with these kms? burns a little bit of oil but still nothing that a normal vtec wouldn't burn... so yeah and insitewould be great still new to the vtec game

thats not too bad. i think they should have 185 across all four.

how many cranks did you do for each cylinder? I normally let it turn over until it reaches its maximum compression. (needle stops going up)

umm about 5-6 cranks did the test twice to be sure and came up 175 across all 4 again!~ cheers for the reply

Sometimes calibration of compression tools maybe off compared to another compression tool rule of thumb is if you got even compression results across all 4 cyls with using the same compression tool than you should be good.

rule of thumb is usually no more than 10 psi variance between cylinders.
If you want to test your rings because of your oil problem i suggest putting a drop of oil in the plug holes to see if the compression goes down, that usually indicates bad rings.
Your figures are fine, well done! :d
