Hi all,

I'm interested in buying a 2005 Euro Accord Luxury Manual (either SSM or Graphite Pearl) and was wondering if the drop in import tax has affected the 'good' drive away prices? Or just what you've seen any 2005 models go for etc.

Please PM me if you feel uncomfortable with talking about pricing in this public forum.

Thanks!

Hi;

Welcome, why not go shop around different dealerships to get the prices that you need? :)

And yes, prices for the new Euros have dropped.... :D

Does 38K drive away for a Manual Lux with a few acccessories sound reasonable?

(spoiler, mud guard, metal trim, tailored matts..)

That sounds pretty good, a friend got a euro lux 04 plate for about 40g driveaway and no accessories, so if thats a 05 that would be a good deal but there might be others that have got better.....

Your Dreaming, $40k with a few things thrown in would be realistic.

Yeah, your right, also, need to take in to consideration that they are selling truck loads of them, 1500 last month!! they'll be in very short supply too!

With so many on the road it must hurt resale values for owners like yourself when the time comes, but for second hand market it's GOLD

no way will you get one on the road for $38k WITH EXTRAS. if you're very lucky you may be able to with no extras. I got one of the best deals on this forum at $38750 with mats, and that wasn't easy.

a friend just bought an 05 luxury manual for $42500 driveaway with bodykit (sans boot spoiler) and mats. Doesn't sound like the best deal having read some of the other replys in this forum?!
Its in milano red... and still a looong wait away from delivery.

Woohooo... A $300 savings.. Thanxxx to the decrease in the import tax..

RRP don't mean much on cars when ppl haggle and try to get a good deal..

Nah thats cause the paint is normal, if you want peralescent paint it cost $300 which is standard on the 04 model then the price is the same

The decrease on prices will only affect things or products comming from Thailand. What we got was a "FREE TRADE AGREEMENT" which means there is no tax on these certain products arriving or produced from Thailand inc cars and Euro's as we all know are manufactured from Japan, do not comply with the Free Trade Agreement.
