may be worth an inspection/phone call to determine legitimacy for anyone out there looking for a DC2R. Might need to confirm VIN though (which should really be sighted)

Good luck and i hope this helps someone find their dream ITR :)

maan it's amazing to see just how far ITR's have come down in price since when I bought my DC2. back then if I wanted one with under 180,000km I needed to have around $17,500 and under 100,000km around $20,000.

now you can buy a perfect one with 38,000km for this price. amazing.

Wouldn't say it's perfect if there's something sus about the VIN?

in the first post infurNOS said "might wanna confirm the VIN". I'm not sure whats actually up I guess I just sorta guessed if people were saying that :/

Yea, I have no idea, someone made it a point, so I was only referring to that as Super-DA9 was saying the pricing is so good, curious also.

Not that clean since the rear bumper has been hit before.

is it the off gapping that makes you think that? it looks like it but that's actually a really common sagging issue with DC2 rear bumpers.

the VIN is incorrect when i try to put it in for a REVS check and other vehicle checks. But that could just be a typo on the sellers behalf, which is why i said it needs to be sighted.

I look at the condition of it (admittedly the pictures may not portray it in the best light) and then look at my ITR ... and it looks nowhere as good. That engine bay in the carsales ad is dirty and dusty, windscreen wiper arms don't have that "fresh" look to them :( Seats look good though although the rails look dirty. I had no doubt about the kms on DL001 and the care that was taken with the car. The photos in the for sale showed how pampered it was. With this one, I'm not quite as convinced. Happy to admit I'm wrong though

Think the sagging is common. Car looks very clean

i want his side skirts and rear pods!

From the photos, the car does look very clean. The pods and skirts look great and the exterior looks like it's been babied. I'm not sure about sagging of the rear bar at 30K kms - and it may be the camera shot - who knows without going to see it in person.

I looked at a shot of mine and it looks like it's a closer gap and is the same as it was when I bought it at very similar kms.

Any SA people gone to look at this?
