I found what causes the engine to die. Whenever im in idle, i turn the steering wheel then the idle drops significantly low then it will eventually die. Im so sick of this lol

not all cars have the PSP,
the PSP tells the ECU when you have turned the wheel and then the ECU compensates the idle speed.
what car do you have

Says DA9 in his profile, so that's a start =)
When you turn the wheel and hold, does the idle come back up?
Or does it idle low/die whenever you're not pointed straight?
There should only be load on the power steering pump whilst the wheels are actually in the turning motion.

1) no it doesnt
2) it idles low but when i continue to turn the wheel it will eventually die

Might be worth doing a flush of the system.. You might just have a blockage in their somewhere.

if your running a JDM P73 ECU then you must connect the PSP
if you running an AUDM P73 ECU I dont think they had a PSP
if you running any other ECU, that is your problem

p28 ecu from the us

I would say that is your issue
has this ECU been re mapped for use here in AUS ? if it has US Maps in it then you mixtures are all out, this can cause you problem. plus the P28 will not allow for the PSP ( depending on the base map ).
end of the day. A remap or correct ECU will resolve your issue.

also noticed if i leave the car on idle it will eventually lose power , idle drops up and down then dies. will i still have the car diagnosed or just change the ECU?
i tried a JDM p30 ecu on the car, was not able to check the idle but vtec wasnt kicking in.

you need to run the correct MAP for the engine to behave normally
