did you check the globe?

check if the globe socket is getting voltage?

check wiring between the two sides?

i changed the globe to see if it was just blown.. wasnt that. there is no voltage going to the socket
so would it just be a wiring issue then?

change both globes... check

which side is not getting voltage? check wiring between left and right lights.

chinese bulbs can cause weird malfunctions/shorts.

I would replace the globes with good branded ones and if your problem persists,

it must be the wiring between the left and right.

normally the loom travels down the right side if the car,

backtrace the wiring from the tail light.

might be as simple as a short 10cm back from the light.
