i just lowered my car, the results are poor and no where near how much i was told it would lower the car.

my question is do they settle?
how much will the car settle?
is a week about right for how long it will take?

cheers

The springs themselves are unlikely to change much in length under the static load of the car but they might settle into the spring seats if they weren't quite seated properly when installed. Also bushing compliance will play a role as it will take a finite time for the bushes at the pivot points of the suspension to deform to the new static ride height. If you have spherical bearings or loosen and then re-torque all the bolts that go through rubber bushes with the car on the ground this effect will be minimised.

Yes, your car will take up to two weeks to settle to its final height.

How did you lower your car? What were you told you'd get?

Depending on the suspension, some settle very little. Others change a lot (and sometimes continue to sag over time). e.g. King springs.

My kings lows have been the same height for the last 100,000km. They still sit with a 1.5 finger gap on the front,
2 at the rear.
When the car is full of passengers it evens out to 0 finger fender gaps.

No idea why people say they sag. Well everyone treats their cars different.

You have the right part number, I'd be checking out why it hasn't gone lower, should've dropped the car almost 2 inches
