if you buy it with a VIC RWC it wont be valid in QLD. If the cars mechanical condition is good then it should pass QLD RWC without any problems.

Last time I researched, selling my car to a person in QLD 6 months ago, QLD rwc isn't as harsh as Vics, You could purchase a car that is OFFERED with a RWC just for peace of mind, but then reject the RWC (most people will only get RWC after deposit) make the price adjustment, take the car back to QLD and do RWC there, as the Vic one won't be valid. Then fill in the Vicroads form to be paid out for the remainder of the rego, if the car is sold to you with rego, make sure the rego doesn't get stolen by the seller.

If I buy the car with RWC /without RWC I still have to get it re-RWC in Queensland rite?
