Hi i have recently went under the car when removing Front bumper there was one bolt in the middle and it appears that the previous owner scraped it so badly that the bolt is now unusable (basicly Gone) i was ganna go to a mechanic but i dont wanna and suggestions what to do i Google'd but really couldn't find anything D.i.Y -Thanks

Car not that it matter's : Ek1 Gli Hatch (96)

soak it in wd 40
or freeze nut

use vice grips
multi grips
angle grinder
if not chisel and hammer it's only 3/8 bolt or something like that

you can also jack up the car and use a drill, either remove the bolt completely and rethread the hole or drill the middle of the bolt and use an extractor (basically looks like a left spinning drillbit)

I guess thats a easy way to do it.now need to find a replacement for it.

Easy out the bolt. Had to remove one of my overhead coilpack bolts which had snapped in the head. Just make sure you get the easy out deep enough into the centre of the bolt and watch a youtube tutorial before you attempt it.
