wanting to run a block off plate for my fitv.. can i is the question? and only reason why im doing it is cause mines ****ed and yeah very expensive to replace soo easier to make a block off plate :)

dont think u really need fitv.some honda didnt have fitv and and it idle fine on cold start.i dont have 1 on my b16

it will work without it you will just need to let it warm up before driving it or it will constantly stall

it won't cold start correctly as it will not idle high as it should. however if you have a hondata s300 or other tuneable ECU, that can be set to control the cold start/idle via the IACV in accordance to the coolant temp, eliminating the need for a FITV.
