A friend of mine had my car for the week while his was in the shop, and he used the wrong key to try and start the car and now it wont start. No cluster lights, no turn over, nothing. Any idea how to bypass the immobiliser to get it started? Any advice appreciated! Thanks!

Did he use the red key?

He will need to get a new one or have the immob control unit reprogrammed as trying to start the car with the red 'valet' key can damaged the immobolizer control unit. There are by pass kits you can buy but i have not read up on how successful they are.

OR convert car to OBD1.
