Hi guys.
My car overheated the other day, NRMA replaced the faulty water delivery hose and we discovered that the thermostat needed replacement.

Confirmation was made by the NRMA service centre (after having it for 2 days and not returning my enquiring calls). They wanted $400 plus for the parts and labour.

My understanding is that a thermostat can cost a max of $60-100.

Does anyone here located in the North Sydney area have any experience, or alternatively, could recommend someone to replace a thermostat?

I just moved up to Sydney as well, would be nice to meet some people from the S2K gang up here...

I'll do it for a bottle of scotch. Have to be a good bottle though. Thermostat is a PITA to get to.
