Complain to teh dealership

if the dealership was responsible for registering it, it's their problem

Over here in South Australia got done driving my R33 unregistered and at the same time they will sting you for no insurance. Each was around a $700 fine by memory after going through the courts.

It's the driver's responsibility to ensure that a car is registered. You can only go for the dealer through the courts for civil damages. You'd have to pay the fine. It's probably why the police were unmoved by your pleadings.

This goes for when you borrow a mate's car. It's up to you to ensure it is registered. You can only sue your (now) ex-mate for civil damages.

In Victoria the fine is the rego amount,so you get stung say $640 and still have to pay the $640 rego on top

Couple of yrs ago i got done. In NSW They will fine u for the below:

Driving an Unregistered vehicle $500
Un-insured vehicle (greenslip) $500
Unpaid tax/stamp duty $500
No valid rego label $68
Unpaid registration fee $400
Unregistered number plates. $90

Just over $2k for all fees in just less than 5klms ride.

Take note if its double demerits the fines are a tad higher.

My advise, dont risk it unless it was life threatening.

Or your a baller.. Go for a ride! Wgaf right? Lol

u mad?

Lucky,

Yeh unfortunately that was one of those unfortunate days.

There were like 4cop cars, 1 RTA and EPA cars. Pretty much the entire car was searched at the same time and defected too..

As i said worse day ever.

u mad?

So if I get hit by you, you can't afford to pay for insurance and rego, let alone pay me? Pathetic.

(There we go. That wasn't "behind your back" now, was it?)

I was actually driving with a permit thankyou very much, There was an error in the system which screwed me up. Driving without registration automatically gets you an infringement for being uninsured in South Australia..

You don't have to be rude about everything we speak about.. God!
A handful of the guys here are worse then some of them on the SAU forums.

Could say the same about you pal...

I'm here to learn and expand my knowledge in regards to Honda's and their motors. Your here to criticize me for the most obsurred things. Not going into detail here as I'm not going to start a debate.

Cheers.
