Just curious what I'd have to go through with mod plates and shit for putting a city turbo1 motor in my first gen civ... Different car, engine is 1200 instead of 1500 (going to see if I can bore it up a bit, so it's closer) and it's turbo, injected, etc.
And since I'm in tas, the laws are a bit more lenient than nsw I imagine... but what is required/ how would I go about it? Just drop by a roadworthy/ pits place and get them to do a mod plate or something?
Or rather, would I need a mod plate and engineering cert?

Basically, Just trying to figure out what to do so I don't get anal from the cops the next time I get pulled over, with the engine in...

... Good point... Having said that, I don't know if the roads rules people in service tas really know the rules... But fair enough, I should give them a call.
But still, was just curious what the general go is... I'm new to engine transfers and such.
