hmmm...if ya wanna run higher than 8 psi you'll hafta get the internal werk done! you can only run low boost with the stock gear. rebuilding will still only let you run low boost as the gear isnt strong enough to handle high boost applications.

*this is just from my understanding, feel free to correct me if iam wrong*

Get a compression test done. Will tell what kind of condition the engine is in.

Rods are a weak point too... (Std rods bend under boosted detonation)
Be sure to include a set of half decent aftermarket ones.

i guess he sells TODA parts being an OH trader...
if youre willing to spend a fair amount on your engine rebuild it. if its for sh*ts and giggles i wouldnt bother rebuilding or running high boost.

I wouldnt rebuild, i just boosted another car with the same engine as urs, has 250k kms on it, runs 10psi daily driven.

ask ur self this, if u rebuild now, and then boost, thats fine

what about u boost first, then IF u NEED to rebuild, u rebuild then?

honda recommends 10psi at the 130k serivce interval in your log book.
