Hi all,

I bought this car about 2 months ago brand new from a dealer and has had somekind of knocking noise coming from one of the panels on the driver side.

The dealer told me that the noise is the results of two metal hitting each other somewhere along the right hand side skirting board. Apparently they had to order the parts from Japan that will wedge the two metals apart to stop the noise. That was done about a month ago but now the noise has return.

Has anyone else have this kind of issue. I find the noise though mild is extremely annoying and the dealer hasn't really been accurate when describing the problem?

I have the same noise on my Euro 2010, it sounds like it is coming from the under-carriage. I have also had a sill kit installed, apparently it acts as a "wedge" to avoid the knocking.

Unfortunately this has been happening for 3 years now with many visits to the dealer and still not resolved. Apparently this issue is not uncommon.

Have you managed to get it resolved? I'm keen to know how you are dealing with it as I have been told last week that my warranty is running out and I may have to pay to get it checked!
