Heya guys
I figured i'd post this here
Sometimes if i REPLICATE it right or unintentionally
I'll be at a red light
When the light turns green, i let my foot of the brake
And about 1/2 second ill then put my foot on the accelerater
But i'll only use 1/6 throttle
Now when she's in 1st gear at about 1l-1.5k rpms
She'll virtually bog down like she's struggling to get up to speed/power
and she'll jerk forward slightly and jerk again
But at about 2k rpms she'll pull away fine like there wasn't a problem

Done
-I've adjusted the throttle cable
-Put a bottle of injector cleaner last week
-Clean air filter 2 months ago

Possibilities
-I may need a new fuel filter
-Accel. cable tension
-Clean throttle body

Any help would be great, its just weird thats all

Hey mate,

I had a similar problem with my CD5 bogging down/cutting out, it got progressively worse. My dad helped me replace the ignition coil which is inside the distributor. We also ordered a new fuel filter but haven't fitted it yet as problem was resolved.

Cheers

Heya Troy
Thanks for the reply, appreciated
I'll get onto that asap and check it out this saturday
If im not mistaken my wrecked cd5's engine components (dizzy/rotor) would be able to be used?

I would only assume if it's the exact same engine model but not 100% sure to be honest.
