strange noise?

So lately ive been getting this whining noise on start up than it goes away it after 2-3 seconds, its weird because it only happens on start ups, other than that when driving normally the engine sounds fine. Its most noticeable on cold start ups

Any reasons as to it?

Oil used maybe?

Seems to be coming from the drivers side, i thought it could be the belts but im no expert.

i read here somewhere you can test it with water.
squirt some water to belts and see if noise stops

Just throwing it out there but it could be the the timing belt is a bit tight and once the car warms up the belt expands from the heat?

theyre slipping.

change them.
