exhaust again

sorry to put up another exhaust thread but i did a search and didnt get the info i wanted to find out if i get a 2 inch exhaust will this cause any problems with performance? ie make it worse.
i am looking at getting a 5 zigen 2inch.... just dont want something extremely loud. does anyone have any opinions?

I'm actually gettin it as a test run... gonna use it for awhile and see if I like the continuous broom noise when i drive... if i do then I'm gonna change to spoon... if not then goin back to stock so yeah...

wouldn't you loose a little low end torque with 2 inch piping on a jazz?

geoffy, my coz got a 2.5' N1 replica too with a 2 in piping and it was too loud. like at the low revs-stationary it would be silent as if it was stock but once you accelerate, the 1G-3Grpm it would have a nice sound, anything above would be a headache... but that is my personal opinion(diff ppl think diff sound is loud). so if i get a 2in exhaust, i shouldnt find my self losing power?....

i think u better check yr ear if u dun think SPOON N1 on a DC2R is not loud or dun feel any sick when u are inside the car seriously
as i cant hear any music with my exhuast at all

actually i recommend HKS ES 409 series which is very quite but for some stupid reason, i bought mine and MRFIT's wrongly so we are using Hipower one. LOL

Vision Muffler is quite as well compated to spoon one. N1 Type and it is full stainless steel

I've got the Vision N1 Muffler from Hondar (Leo) not long ago... It is pretty good I reckon, a little bit pricey compare to the custom made one but you will get the flexibility to change it back to stock anytime you like.. they are bolt on. It took me 15 - 20 mins to change it back to stock and vice versa.

Also, Vision is pretty good quality and I was told they make mufflers for SPOON. Some find it too loud.. but I quite like it and it produce the deep tone sound it makes. For the woman, she cannot stand the sound and I have to put the silencer in. She is happy with that..

MRFIT had a listen to mine and he said it is not as loud as the SPOON which he previously had.. he is getting a HKS one I believe..

Anyway, if you want to listen to the sound, I can email you.. PM me with your email address... Please take note that the it sounded different when new which is a bit unsettled.. after about a few weeks of running it.. it sounded better and tighter..
