Hi All,

I had to replace the in-tank fuel pump with another type.

but - connectors werent the same. The old one was a nut and bolt type. The new one used those plastic connectors.

So I intend to solder ends of wiring and crimp.

- BUT, not doing so because it might be incorrect let alone outright dangerous?

- Anything I can do further? What sort of insulation is there thats good to sit with the fuel? or what else do I need to protect?

just solder the new crimp connectors on, there is never enough air in the fuel tank for the fuel to ignite.......

just shrink wrap the wire if you want.
