third brake lights

gday ladies and gents!

i've just recieved a defect for my car for the hundredth time
slowly getting over it, but something that really bothered me,

even tho the cop gave me an attitude (i think cause im asian, drive a lowered honda etc)
he picked on my car not having third brake light?

ek9's never had a third brake light, he said cars produced after 1993 must or should have a eye level brake light!

i told him over and over again, he just kept telling me the other cops dont know what is what, and that they didnt go thru your car thoroughly for the third brake light.

i find it stupid really, major for 3 items, height HID's and brake light.

now i need a stupid RWC just for the 3 dam items (height=fair enough my bad, HID's=my bad, third brake light= WTF?)

N.A macdonald was the one that pulled me over. also asked him what was with the attitude, and he said i gave him attitude (when he first approached my car i asked him how was his day, he didnt even reply and rudely asked me for my license)
then i asked him was it cause i'm asian? then he pulled straight up and talked to me normally without attitude.

You need a 3rd brake light.

Tou'll find that EK9's weren't released in the ADM hence why none of them have a 3rd brake light.

ur car should of been brought into compliance and a 3rd brake light should of been added during compliancing.

does it have to be mounted on the top?

cause i wanted to mount a triangle 12 led on the rear bottom lip like the 370z and RR FD2R's

IMO just buy a 3rd brake light like above posted and mount it inside with some double sided tape and wire it into the brake light wiring circuit, easier than cutting and molding a light it into the ek9 wing

No, adr 60 states that it can be anywhere on the rear window so long as it's in the middle (longitudinally) basically.
EDIT: It may also be above the top of the rear window.
