Hi All!

Just wondering if it's possible to put the throttle body from the Civic Sport into the VTi?

I was just going to try and find a wrecked sport and take it. Otherwise is there any other option beside an engine swap?

Thnaks!

it won't fit. i can guarantee it

swapping the entire car would be easier than swapping the engine

Wtf

"Does a part that does nothing fit ? If not , how about new engine ?!"

What other "option besides engine swap" mean ?!

Option for more power ? More respect ?!

easier to sell car than do engine swap

it wont fit both two different engines

transplant an FD2 subframe and you cant fit anything in the FD1 engine bay. Mikey whats the issue with the throttle body ? is it ratshit or you think an sport TB will give you more power ?

If more powers is what your after then K&N drop in filter along with a Throttle body spacer may give you a few more kw's. There is really nothing else out there to give you a powerboost. The R18 is designed for fuel efficiency and midrange torque.

Thanks for your replies everyone! I read over on the US forums that they swapped the Si throttle body for a larger one and it gave them more power, evidently it's not the same for the R18... Thanks anyway!

oh i see what you mean now.

larger throttle bodies can improve power and response. but you'd need another R18 throttle boddy to fit in (which i doubt exists)

you can get TB spacers though (search for P2R)
