i had my b18c2 comp tested today it has done 260000 and it got 220psi across all 4 is
this good for the kms of the motor and what does the test mean

At WSID? or from a roll on the highway on ramp? a R33 with about 1 bar thereabout should be pushing like 200> <250kw. Low 13 secs passes.

A eg with a b18c2 motor and "220 psi across all four" will NOT be touching near that lol.

Race this car at an official drag strip and it will give an indication of true power and strength.
Not some random spurt on the street.

The other R33 GTST owners seem to hit 200kw easy at 1 bar of boost, but it takes more than just 'bolt ons'. What is wrong with your brothers car?

And Stock V8's are around are at least flat 14 ish car yea? With a R33gtst on 1 bar you should be pushing around 200 give or take a couple of kw. If you cannot get into the high 13's as a minimum then I dont think drag racing is for you.

Yea they're not. What Im trying to say is there is no way it can be running 14psi with "bolt ons". With a front mount and exhaust it should be getting like 160kw? and like 7 psi boost. Because you will get issues with the ecu with fueling and the waste gate spring not being able to stay shot to reach those levels.

Not talking down on B series engines or DC2's. They have potential to smash turbo cars and V8's but not stock. Especially when Stock DC2R's do around 14.7

Fair enough.

It was what your implying though. A R33 with 14 psi should be running 13.9 sec as a minimum. Your bro probably only has <7psi with exhaust and front mount.

I think I can help clarify this issue/debate... Coming from an extensive background knowledge on rb25det's and previously owning a series II R33 gts-t and now a RS4S Stagea (rb25det neo).

Most healthy and well maintained rb25det's on 12psi, full 3" turboback, intake, ecu + tune, front mount intercooler and fuel pump will make a good 200rwkw give or take a bit. As for the B series over the RB motor I cant help there..

As for 14psi on stock turbo it can be achieved but anything over 12psi is not advised due to the ceramic turbine wheels which are prone to failure.

My H22A has a little more KM's than yours...

Fuel consumption has been basically the same over the last 100,000km, 9L/100km average. It still pulls hard ,0-100kph in low 7s (high sixes possible if the Stig was driving it). The engine has never missed a beat.

Look after the engine and it will last a long time.

I have I/E and tune mods by the way...Didn't want to spend more money on an aftermarket header because the stock one isn't too bad apparently.

Maybe, u should race in ur bros car and he can race in urs, im presuming both are manuals.

maybe he just cant drive for shit or his car is actually munted in someway, maybe the extra boost his running has already wrecked his turbo (almost everyone knows u shouldnt boost the standard turbo on that car)
