Help on engine conversion regulation

Hi guys I really need some help now since I've finished my b18c conversion into my em1. I need to know if I need a mod plate or go to qld transport and change any details on my car?

All thats been changed was from b16a2 to a b18c

in NSW yo u dont need to just go get blueslip because your jumping 0.2L so its alright

not sure about QLD

you won't need a mod plate in QLD either for the 0.2L increase.

However, as someone else mentioned on another thread:


Since your in QLD,

As mentioned, u dont need the mod plate due to 1.6 to 1.8l.

Though it would be best to get a mod plate done for the engine mounts, gbox, etc etc. its best to be safe than sorry with the friendlys.

Whats $60 bux for a mod plate vs a copers fine/defect?
