Would anyone be able to help me out with any of these three?
My tempreture gauge wont work and i want to find which wire it is and if possible find the problem.
Cooling diagram is also related to the above
And the idle keeps bouncing for some reason it sits at around 1500 Rpm and bounces.
Still learning honda so any help would be appreciated!
Cheers

Check the Coolant temp sending unit, it's a single wire sensor on the side of the engine that sends the signal to the temp gauge on the cluster
If you haven't messed around with your cluster or wiring lately, it's most likely the sensor

For idle problems, first check if you have any error codes stored in the ECU.
Next clean IACV, test MAP sensor, check for vacuum leaks

Well personally no i haven't messed with it. The previous owner on the other hand was quite adventurous...... Ill look into the cooling sensors. With a test light will the plug let me know the wiring is okay? Or will i have to pull it out. Also I'm not entirely sure what those sensors look like so i took a couple of photos so if you could let me know which ones are what it would be appreciated! The engine is a B18B from what i have seen there are quite a few differences form the 18C
Thanks for all the help

Thanks guys! I looked through the diagrams and hopefully after i clean it all out it will run smooth. I found my temp gauge was rooted :/ So the sensor was fine.

So as it turns out i just needed to replace all my engine and cooling temp sensors and thermostat that was throwing everything out. I appreciate all the help!

I have the exact same issue with my 1998 Integra GSi. Sometimes the temperature gauge just does not want to work, although it works on really warm days, which is mainly in the summer.
How much did it cost you to replace all the temp sensors and thermostat? Also, how easy/difficult is it?
