Wanna ask a general question..

Something hit my windscreen this morning.
It's not cracking, but I can feel and see a chip, it's around 1-2mm in size..

Do I need to fix it?

I do have comprehensive Insurance but I don't have windscreen cover..

That means it will cost something?

Anyone know who does a good job?

Thanks!!

Oxide gel to harden spot. If you leave it too long after that chip will turn into a crack.

Obrien done.

i have a chip on my windscreen

went to obrien to get them fill/fix it up.
comes with lifetime warranty. if it cracks from that chip spot, they will replace the full windscreen free of charge.
the warranty is what got me to go with obrien.

$150 for the fix

go o'brien mate

and do it soon, if you leave it to long water will get in the chip and when you seal/fix it it'll be a white spot on the glass

in my experience O'brien charges the most, had to get a quote for a window replacement a year back and RACV was the cheapest option saving me like $150 compared to o'brien and a few other companies, shop around, it's not gonna crack on u instantly
