Hi im looking to buy new rims for my car, i just want to know how much work i would need to do to fit 16x8 +0 offset on a dc2 vti-r. Or just to stay safe and go +20 offset.
Can someone also post pictures of the 2 offsets on the dc2.

Thanks.

I had xxr 521 16x8 +20 it just sits outside the guard by couple of mm but if ur running coils and ur suspension is stiff it shouldn't scrub. I was running oem shocks and lowered springs and was abit bounce at the rear so just rolled the rears and it was fine. Was running 205/45 tyres

oh alright, you reckon i would need a camber kit if I was to get +0 offset?

Up to you man, don't forget about the tyres, if ur goin to run a camber kit, ur going to wear out your tyres
More, really your choice

Hey mate make sure you roll your guards aswell even with the +20 offsett it will scrub,, and also for tyres get 195/45 so it'll stretch giving you more clearance and look herraaa frrussshhh =)

DC28OY do you by any chance have any pictures with the rims and tyres? I just bought a set of 205/40 yesterday cos they were cheap, hopefully it wont be too bad, if not i will just sell them and get 195/45.

Update: I have received my rims and got 195/45/16 tyres straight away, I had to roll my guards at the rear more cos of intense scrubbing, now it just scrubs abit on sharp turns and dips. The current problem i have right now is that it scrubs at the front at times, not sure what to do cos there is nothing to roll. Suspension i am using is OEM shocks with king springs super lows.

Here is some pics of how it sits:

looks good man ... i guess if you dont want to go lower profile tyres which isnt practical since you just bought brand new tyres then you would have to get camber kits , you wont have to camber as much since u say it only scrubs abit but i guess that would be the fix ...
