paint jobs for dc2

ive got a red dc2 integra.... i would like to paint my bonnet and my rear bumper as they need a touch up and maybo also my front bar... does neone here knows wheres a good place to go for a paint job in syd???... and whats the costs??.. is it very expensive ??..or would it be cheaper to get a complete kit and whack it on???? ive never done paint jobs be4... im looking to do this in July.. ehehehhe coz thats when i get ma tax return.. just wanna kno estimates of the costs..:D

bumper i think good price to pau is around 200-250.
bonnet prolly abit less.
best idea would to call around and get quotes of places and try to get them to beat each others price.

As for body kits. NOOOOOO!! best kit for a dc2 is the oem one. Ive never seen a nice dc2 kit which matches the nice curves and lines of the dc2!

200-250 for Each bumper. is a very reasonable offer.
PM .::F[L]Y::. on the forums, he has a mate which can do very good deals on resprays.

Thats why it's called a forum...share experiences, pass on tips and advise etc. If someone asked about a particular honda engine, would u tell him/her to go to an experienced automotive expert and ask him? Be helpfull man.

grey_cvc, it cost me 200 bucks to get the front bumper of my LS resprayed. The panel beater told me that the colour could only be matched to a certain point since the paint on the rest of my car was slightly discoloured from years of sun exposure - so make sure u go to a panel beater who will do a decent colour match...

yep what DapLaya said, a good panel beater will fade the color in for u on other parts of the car so the color difference doesnt stand out too much. i say use 200 as a base estimate for a fornt bumper respray!

geez bludger im jus askin... its coz im gonna do it a bit later aftah ma tax return... so im jus askin round ye.. if thats alrite with you... and faijai and daplaya what if i have a lil crack on my rear bumper?? can they touch it up or do i have to replace the bumper???....

a kit will cost u arounf $1,200 and up minimum.

a full colour change respray will cost u around 4,000 and up for a decent job (same colour respray is a lil cheapper)

i have a dc2 and quotes to get my front bumper resprayed ranged from 300 at most shops up to 430 from honda themselves.

that is to remove, prep, spray and fit the bar
