Honda Accord Euro 2003 Driver Side Electric Seat

Hi everyone,

I just bought a Honda Accord Euro 2003. The driver side electric seat will move back and tilt but will not go forward ( I know I feel really stupid for not checking this out when I bought it)

Can someone please tell me that if I take the seat out, will that by any chance have any issues with the Side Airbag? Someone said that if I take the seat out It will mess up the airbag and will have to go to Honda to get the airbag fixed up.

I am not sure if this is the case so I thought I would get some ozhonda members opinion. Thanks for your help

I have taken out my seat before without any dramas. I would recommend you disconnect the battery and drain the electrical system (i.e. Dabbing the brake pedal after disconnecting the battery is a good way) before you go disconnecting any airbags.
