Hey you reading this thread,

I like to be different when it comes to things like theses soo what engine do you have in your EK Civic or what engine you have in mind?

I have a 1998 EK1 Civic hatchback, currently running a stock standard D16Y SOHC with a stock standard D16Y gearbox, with an Drift Pod Filter which I got for free from work haha! :D

Currently I am planning to put a B18c7 or a JDM B18C in it that done under 100,000kms hopefully.

Did you steal the pod from work?

Currently have an ek4, planning on either b18cr or K24 if funds allow me. I can't stand the lack of torque with the b16..

Turbo and when youre ready to sell up can remove and recoup some money back

Once you boost b16/b18 performance not much difference, just b16 is cheaper these days

Never really looked into turboing, I guess I'll consider it if funds are abit short!

Comes down to which you like obviously, but try to drive or get a ride in both for a better impression.

Purely on numbers if you go b18c or K and want to sell later you will lose alot more than boosting and selling it stock when youre ready

And torquewise, boost sure fixes that on a b16,mine pulled from 2500 like a train

Been in a k20/K24 dc pulled awesome, so I wonder what a b-turbo will feel like. Too bad I don't know anyone with a turbo to experience it

Used to own a B16 turbo ek1, now that car would pull like a mofo, on 20psi I could break traction shifting into 4th! But it was capiable of much more with a better tune, but couldn't afford new ECU so I sold it...

Oh and it would only do like 280kms per tank lol
