Hey guys,

I'm after some help. My DC5 has just picked up a problem that I can't seem to fix. After some trolling on CRSX I couldn't find anything to work.

Basically, whenever I touch my brakes the dash lights all flicker (this only happens when the headlights are in the OFF position, when ON it works normal).

The speedo, tacho etc all flicker and it is beginning to become annoying. I was told it was a blown 3rd brake light but this wasnt the case. Any ideas guys?

Peace

Check for loose ground points under the dash, engine bay, and incabin chassis .

Are you running stock dash lights or LEDs?

Checked my grounds, everythign seems correct and properly attached.

No, stock lights and everything. Few people had problems on CRSX with LED lights but I havn't done anything like that

^^
check your brake pedal light sensor and see if this is all good and the wire is not grounding.

Look under the dash where your brake pedal is and trace this pedal up and you will see a sensor with a plug with wires on it. See if its loose or has been punctured.

Checked everything and turns out my engine mount grounding point came loose while I was on the track. Re'connected it and boom, fixed. Thanks guys
