Hey guys

Yesterday I picked up my EK civic and this afternoon the key got stuck in the ignition barrel and i could turn the car on. I eventually got it started and I tried to start it again and the same problem happend. I only have one key aswell. I know it would be hard to say but would it be a worn key or the barrel needs reconditioning.

If you have any ideas? Let me know

Thanks

get graphite powder put in ignition barrel, this is only a temp fix,

best option to get a new key if possible, and replace ignition barrel with a 2nd hand unit or reco.

while you're at it, check all wires leading to ignition barrel a 10+ year car will show signs of wear.

hope this heaps
