Hi there. Can someone help with our problem?
I have a EK 99 with a B16 and we're going to fit it into my sons EG. The harnesses are different where they go through the left side fire wall. Do we have to use the black EK fuse box because they are separate, unlike the EG one? Any help would be appreciated.

Need a B-series engine harness from an Integra DC2

Buy a CRX 92-95 engine hardness and matching OBD1 P30 ECU.

I'd try to get an OBD2A DC2 VTI-R/Type R harness. That way there will be no wiring modification needed with an OBD2A P30 ECU.

As above. A 98-00 Type R engine harness will do the job. You will also need a obd1 > obd2a conversion harness for the ECU

Why? Not for an OBD2A DC2R loom.

Because EG/DC engine loom doesn't connect up to the ECU (like the EK)

Hi all. Ok, please explain to me, what i need to just get this B16 working in my sons EG. I'm after the simplest way.
How do i get one of these in g.c and complete. OBD2A DC2 VTI-R/Type R harness.

you guys only mentioned Engine harness. If he gets an DC2R ( Type R ) engine harness it will connect up directly to the EG Cabin loom that has OBDI ECU connectors. So he can then run an OBDI to OBDIIa Convertion harness to run the OBDIIa ECU as Benny mentioned. ( Or you can have your P06 EG ECU modified to run the B16A2 with out a harness )

in adittion since the cabin loom has not been changed you will have to run 3 wires from the ECU to the shock tower connector for VTP, KS and PO2H, if your EG is VTi or Si then only 1 wire for KS

if your EG was dual carb then everthing posted above goes out the window. You wil have to change the cabin loom or custom wire in the PGMFI

good luck

Hey there ECU-MAN. Our ECU is a P73. I don't know what that means. Now where can i get some of these things. The wiring is untouched. Are you saying that i can get some sort of ECU adapter for the ECU. And then i just have to run 3 wires and that's it. Sorry for all the questions. I'm an engine reconditioner. I do not have any idea about this sort of wiring. Can I call you through the day to talk to you. Rather than on the computer.

P73 is not the correct ECU for the B16A2 engine. Its a B18C5/7 ECU

Ill PM you
