Hey guys engine has been sounding like a boxer on start up these past few days, and a massive fuel smell. Went away after it warms up though, but now it's still like that. Sparkplugs need replacement, not firing? Or exhaust's ****ed, there are leaks before the cat?

it'll sound like a boxer if you've got a dud ignition lead. See if they're all sparking and replace as neccessary. I swapped in some Top Guy ignition leads on mine, nice set of leads those.

worthwhile to change the spark plugs to see if it is fixed, its not expensive.

Took a look again, massive fuel smell on start up. Definitely sparkplugs or leads I reckon.

I had this issue once, occured when i installed my new headers, forgot to tighten the 2nd spare o2 sensor hole properly. While driving it popped off and my car had an exhaust leak making it sound like a rexy.

I think I have stock headers, although the past week there's been some horrendous scrapes on the bottom of my car. Damn city parking lots!

Problem found, moisture in spark lead and spark plug closest to timing belt, got 2nd hand leads and new copper plugs, runs fine now.
