Rear door locks on sedan

Hi everyone

Just purchased a EK sedan as a runabout.

The rear door locks do not lock or unlock with the drivers door. The passenger door locks and unlocks so I can assume the drivers switch is fine.

Both rears however do not work and the previous owner said they never have. Would this be a actuator problem? Would the best test be to pull the door trims off and make sure that power is getting to the actuator when it is locked and unlocked?

Also, can you just fit the normal aftermarket actuators easily to the rear doors or do I need to get Honda items?

Best thing you can do is pull the rear door cards off and visually inspect the actuators. if you have a multimeter, you can check the wires to see if they are getting power and i suppose you'd have to go from there.

In terms of replacing them, I'm not entirely sure about Non-OEM compatibility with the master actuator. If you don't want to spend too much and want to stay OEM, maybe try picking some up from the wreckers.
