View Full Version : 2000 DC2 TypeR side skirts - sand and gravel
Hey can someone tell me why does my car keep accumulating sand and gravel on the inside of the front door side skirts corner of the door? Do you goys have this problem too? I have to constantly sweep the gravel out. Pisses me off.
I spoke with Honda and they say maybe should put on a set of mudflaps!
Yeah as if.

so i wasnt the only one.i have the same problem too..its soo annoying >.<"
So it isn't just my ride. The thing that worries me is that eventually all the crap the front tyres kick onto the sideskirts may clog the drainage hole on the corner of the rail. It's hard to vacuum the stuff out of there too.

I think it's to do with the way air rushes upwards behind the wheel well/mud flap. Mud flap keeps heavy stuff out but smaller bits get picked up in the drag and fall in between the front of the door and the back of the guard.
