Hey guys, been a lurker here for awhile mostly for parts and what not. Bored on a sat afternoon so might as well chuck up an introduction.
From S.E suburbs of Melbourne and i own an EK1 sedan.
Bought the car at the start of the year in feb after working my ass off for a year or so to save up for my EK.

Since i got the car i've done a couple of things but here's how it sits as of today.

note: m3 style lip spoiler taken off couple of weeks ago but might chuck it back on once its all colour coded.
Looking to swap these wheels for a set of buddyclub p1s though; really getting into the look of it :D
Other plans is to colour code my front lip, type r rear lip (to be installed), side skirt, grill and number plate surround (rear)
Also in the future looking to upgrade to coils and what not but hard since ive cut down on work to focus on school. (still in year 11 in high school)
Anyways thanks for looking!
Welcome! Finally good to see your car on here (too)! :D Just noticed you've got clear side markers, did they come with the car or did you install them?

Thanks mate. I had a feeling that i was but i had ordered a 99-00 si-r lip and from that angle it looks as if its a 96-98 lip.

Ive been questioning it myself, but i havent seen a 99-00 sir front lip myself irl and on the net i do notice its different, but fitment is alright and imo it looks fine.

And this is the one you have... Which is off a 96-98 model

Anyways if youre happy then its all good... just thought i'd point it out as I have also seen your thread on JDMST and was wondering why you put the wrong lip on your car.

sorry for the ignorance. I myself, was pretty convinced that it was a 99-00 sir front lip cause i did buy it with the 99-00 grill (which does fit right) so i assumed that the lip was the same. Fitment wasnt out of the ordinary at the time so i assume that it was fine. The lip is also not genuine, so that could've played a part too. I've had my 2nd thoughts about it aswell after seeing a couple of photos so thanks for the heads up. might look into getting a type r front lip in the future.
Nice car for yr11!
THanks mate!

Considering that, but looking for front/rear strut bars first but intake mod is on the agenda. Wont be doing much performance mods yet cause i wont have much $$ and plus i might be doing a swap in the future:)
