hey kids,
I want to build a head for my accord euro (2005 cl9). But i don't know what to use..
Thinking TODA type C cams, springs and retainers.
To port n polish a K24A3 head
Or
Use K20 head.
Will the K20 head bolt directly on to the K24A3? I cant seem to find a straight answer.

The K20A2 head is proven to flow better than a ported and polished K24A3 head.
Hard to find one though.
Yes the K20A2 head will fit onto a K24A3 you will however need parts like a timing chain tensioner etc.

Do i use the K24 timing chain, or the K20 one? or is it custom? with the new work, i will change chain and tensioner anyway

Its like a special conversion one. Not an OEM one.

using stock k24 tensioner....
using fd2r head with stock everything except for toda c's and toda valve springs.

How long have you been using the K24 chain tensioner?
I always thought they were the weakest link in a K frank.
Did you score the fd2r head off yahoo.jp?

Either get a CNC ported K24a3 head or drop on a K20R head. You can retain the stock chain and tensioner
For that type of charger, you probably go backwards with the Toda C. Stick to OEM cams and play around with exhaust cam.

...what happens if you keep k24 head but bore to 2.6 liter instead?
Edit: scratch that. Looks like you need a k20 head for that anyway.

I think 06+ k24 euro has a stronger tensioner..... USDM one anyway... Not sure about Aus spec....
Got my fd2r head in Singapore.... Using it now for about 1 year already... No issues....

Getting it retuned in oct... Going back to rsp manifold with skunk2 70mm cable tb and 3" exhaust will be the only changes...
