Hey all,

I'm Matty and joined to learn more about my 96 EK4 civic. I also own a Ford Laser TX3 turbo which I've done a fair bit of work to

Can't get over how much info there is on here, I've been reading up the past few days

A few quick questions though

1. I find the Civic (b16a2) hard to start, takes a but of cranking to start. Any ideas?

2. In order to pass the RWC test I need to put the standard airbox back in (came with a ram intake). Set it back up (swapped the IAT sensor from the ram intake to the stock air tube) and now it was very hard to start, wouldn't hold idle and was running so rich it smoked the garage out lol. Swapped back to the ram intake and it only just idled and still smoked like a chimney and wouldn't rev
I reset the ecu and tried again, made no difference. No CEL light on the dash is lit up either. What are the chances I've screwed the IAT sensor? Any other sensors that could cause this and the hard starting?

Other things on the RWC list (which I'm working through):

Drivers seatbelt
Water in both tailights
Broken rear trailing arm bushes
Leaking rear main seal/exhaust cam seal
Steering rack boots

Hope to join a few meets once she's on the road again :D
