Hey all,

This problem usually occurs alot when it's hot or on random occasions. I get no fuel prime noise which leads to the car not starting though the car still cranks but nothing else. What I normally do when this problem occurs is let the car rest for awhile then try to start it up again, most the time car primes and starts.

But for some reason today, I let the car rest for nearly half day when I had the problem. Yet the car still does not prime or start. - Does anyone know what is the problem here and how to fix this as simple as possible? I really need the car to start so I can get to important businesses.(please answer and explain in simple form, I'm not a technical guy so would be confused.)

Thanks, hope you all can help!

When you turn the key to the 'on' position, do you hear that click sound?

Sounds like the main relay is going, common problem.

Here is a good link to test the main relay:

It's one of two things actually. A dead pump, or the relay as InfurNOS pointed out.

If the guide proves the relay is fine, then I'd look at the pump.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to dorikin again.

But my friend has the same problem, but worse. No fuel pump prime at all time.
Changed both fuel pump and relay and didn't fix the issue

Wiring prob, something is grounded properly usually.

I would check hood fuse 31 and dash fuse 24 before chasing wires.

Both are fuses for the fuel system. If one is blown, then the pump won't prime.
